There will always come a time when one needs to either access a friends computer or gain access to a computer for work or personal reasons and for this need many amazing feature rich remote access tools/software have become readily available.
* Teamviewer (usually requires someone to be on the other end to provide ID and password)
* Logmein (full access)
Of course both these programs require the computer to be powered on and connected to the internet!
